Q. How often is the Vacancies page updated?

As vacancies become available, and refreshed weekly

 

Q. Do you make adjustments for disabled candidates? 

We will always make reasonable adjustments for disabled candidates. So please let us know if you require extra support at any stage of the process.

 

Q. Do you have summer/Christmas holiday jobs available? 

Most of our vacancies are for permanent positions, but we do sometimes have temporary positions available in our stores and these will have ‘temporary' in the vacancy title.

 

Q. Can I apply for more than one role? 

Yes, but although the selection criteria may be similar, most positions are very different. Please think about the type of role that will suit you and your ultimate goals best, and only apply for appropriate vacancies. If you are invited to interview, we will treat the other applications as a duplicate.

Q. Can I download an application form?

Yes, no problem, at the bottom of each job details page is a link to download an application form, which can be posted or emailed to us.

 

Q. Can I apply for a job by sending my CV instead of the application form?

Yes, However a Full Application form may be required at a later date, a Full Application may require the online form or the upload of a CV Attachment and covering letter.

 

Q. I have been asked on the application form to give names and addresses of my two referees. Why does this happen and will it affect my position with my current employer?

This is not mandatory for you to fill in, this is just for information, and no contact will be made prior to you consent. If you do not provide this information now you may need to provide this information at a later time via a paper form if you reach the final selection stages.

 

Q. Do I need to disclose all criminal convictions?

Yes, Including any convictions pending.

 

Q. When will I be notified of the outcome of the application?

This depends on your application, some applications get back to you within 14 days of your applications, whilst others are longer, please refer to your email receipt for clarification.

 

Q. Will I be contacted if I’m not successful?

Yes you will be contacted within 7 days of the closing date of the vacancy; this will notify whether you have passed the Application stage. Further selection stages may apply.

 

Q. For the Interview I have been asked to provide eligibility documents, what should I bring?

If you are a UK resident the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 requires all employers in the UK to make basic document checks on every person they intend to employ.

If you are Republic of Ireland resident the Immigration Act 2004, the Refugee Act 1996 and the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act 2004 requires all employers in the Republic of Ireland to make basic document checks on every person they intend to employ.
